Copernicus

Copernicus Educational Products was started in 1989 by a retired teacher, science coordinator and principal named George Phillips. Since his first product was "The Science Block Kit", George decided to name his company after the Polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus (1473-1543) who theorized that the earth was not the center of the universe but actually revolved around the sun. Since that time, they have branched off into the field of educational furniture, but the same fundamentals of innovative, teacher-focused products still drive all of their new product introductions.
